“Be Born in Me” by Francesca Battistelli Rewritten by Libby

Hi Guys! So can’t write music, but I can write words. So in a moment of heartache I thought of the first line of this song. “Everything inside me cries for order” and instantly I had the song re-written into something every person can relate to at one time or another.
All though Be Born in Me is originally a Christmas song, the re-write is not, and the melody is so beautiful, I used it to my advantage.

Without further ado:

Here is the original song:

And here is my rewrite:

You’ve Chosen Me
Re-write of Be Born In Me by Battistelli

Everything inside me screams for order
Everything inside me wants to cry
Is the shadow up above of me part of Your plan?
And if it truly is, than does my heart hurt so bad?

(Chorus
Someone tell me why I have these feelings,
Or somehow help me see with Heaven’s Eyes.

I want to live your plan,
I want to be your child.
Help me believe,
Help me to see:

You’ve chosen
Me.
You’ve chosen
Me.
Trembling heart,
But somehow I believe
You will
Guide me.

You held me when it was hardest,
You will hold me in the end.
And although it seems so dark now
I know You are my Defense,
You’re always there.)

I cannot say that I will be perfect,
I cannot say that I am not afraid.
All these fears and all these doubts,
They wrap around me.
And sometimes it just seems like I can’t breath.

(Chorus)

I am not brave,
I’ll never be.
The only thing that I can offer is
An empty me.
I’m just a kid,
Nothing more.
But I am willing,
And God I’m Yours.

You’ve chosen
Me.
You’ve chosen
Me.
Trembling heart,
But somehow I believe,
You will
Guide me.

You held me when it was hardest,
You will hold me in the end.
And all though it seems so dark now
I know you are my Defense.
You’re always there.

You’re always there.

That’s that.

Also, I might actually change out the theme of my blog.
At the moment, I really love the fact that it’s a journal/notebook, but it’s a bit outdated and I want to upgrade it. It doesn’t have featured images, which would really help to share on social media, and it would help to get this out there to other people.
Anyway, I just wanted to warn y’all so that it’s not to big of a shock and you will know that you are at the right blog even if you don’t recognize it. XD
