A Bit of Encouragement for the Waiting Girl

It’s never impossible to wait for someone like the above.
He got to love God genuinely.
He got to seek Him.
He got to speak to God.
He got to trust God to guide him to the wife he needs.
He got to have such a close relationship with God that he tells Him about the girl he can’t wait to meet.
And God knows it’s me.

🙂

“Hope” by Libby

Here I stand,
Only knowing this;
Pain and sadness are temporary,
Even though they seem forever.

Hurt, misery, suffering
Oblivious to what I have.
Pretending to last
Eternity.

Hugs only last so long.
Original pleas surface again.
People get annoyed.
Everything seems to fall apart.

Help is futile.
Oral confirmations,
Pointless words,
Eager to do nothing.

Here I stand,
Only knowing this;
Pealing back the lies,
Emmanuel will help!

Hallelujah, Alpha and
Omega; I will
Praise and seek You
Everyday.

“Stars” by Late-Night Libby

I step outs into the cool night air.
Beautiful Silence.

The delicious darkness,
The bright sparkling stars.

The moonlights glows, reflecting off the smooth white blanket that covers everything.

I can see my breathe against the black ceiling.
A prayer.

A prayer for all the stars in my life, each bright, each special, each unique.
They light up my life.

My pastors; always helpful, always encouraging.

My buddies; always there to say hello.

My little Sunday school 3 and 4 year olds; grinning, chattering, laughing, playing.

My Role models; showing me that living an life all for Jesus is possible.

My mentors and teachers; ready to show me how it’s done. Always patient, always kind.

But most of all, tonight, when I see the moon reflecting the hidden sun to my face, I breathe a prayer of thanksgiving.
For my close friends and family.
Near or far, we all see the same moon.

So I pray “God bless them, protect them, guide them.

I thank you God, tonight, for my stars.”

“Time” by Libby

Time will tell
Where everything leads.

Where heartache heals.

Where pain is relieved.

Where confusion is made clear.

Where tears are turned to joy.

Time will tell
When Time comes.

For now she remains silent.

Poetry

Hi. Here is another poetry post that I promised not to post. But I’ve decided to (FOLLOW JESUS!) write whatever I want to, otherwise there will be hardly any posts! So here I wrote the things that were on my heart. I just wanted to share. 🙂

Show me your love, help me understand.
Reach down from above, and touch me with Your hand.

Fill me with your love, so all I can do is smile.
Show me You are enough, so I go the extra mile.

Help me spread your love with rivers of living water.
Guide me through when it’s tough, so others will know I’m Your daughter.

~

I need more love
I need Your love.

RANDOM FACT BONUS: I absolutely hate puns. Like with the bottom of my heart I hate them. They make me laugh when I don’t want to laugh because those people are being annoying. XD XD

VBS was awesome this year.
