Hi guys, I was going to make this a diary entry, but there were a few other things I had to take care of first, so diary entry next week.
First, I found a prop that says my name last weekend and had to get a photo of it. XD
I also added a new page on the sidebar titled “My Life Songs.” Check it out. 🙂
Then, I have to update you guys some, so I’m just letting you know, something crazy has happened.Steve found some crazy machine in the shed out on our property on Monday. We didn’t know what it was. Kate, Lily and I examined it for a while. It seemed too old to actually do anything. We did find a crazy old edition of “The Mysterious Island” in on of it’s “arms” but beside it being antique the girls didn’t find it very fascinating. I did though. Well guess what? I took Joseph to see it after dinner and, well, let’s just say it works. What it does, I’ll tell you next week.
I’m also writing a book review today. Before this “thing” happened I read another one of my favorite books.
“Starring Me” by Krista McGee
This fiction story is one of my very favorites. It is a little more towards the romance side of things, so in my 16 and up in the Books! list. Here is the summary:
Kara McKormick, a spunky red head, dreams of being an actress, and with one single call, her dream may come true. What she doesn’t know is that the audition isn’t all she thinks it is, and her relationship with someone her friend calls “God” influences her position here, and for the rest of her life.
Chad Beacon, the pop star of all time, has taken a step forward in his career and decided to try out acting. There is one catch, his parents want his costar to be someone they would consider of good character. A creative test is sent out and ten girls are picked.
In “Starring Me” both Chad and Kara are on their own spiritual journey with God, and both are in for a surprise.
If that didn’t make you want to read it this should….
READ THIS BOOK! If you are old enough.. XD If you’re not put it on your list for the future.
