Bit Of Everything #2

Hi guys! I have to do a BOE because I have a bunch of random stuff that has to go up here, but not enough to make each its own post.

So this week, I took part in Lydia’s blog tour, and I never really found those to make the most interesting posts, so I wanted to throw some fun stuff in this week too.
Next week we talk about… ok, so I won’t tell you. That way you can’t just go and look it up by yourselves. XD

So first and foremost, I started a really fun thing with Mariah, we memorized Romans 3:21 – 31. So for practice I’m gonna write it out from memory. I think I have a few words off, but the main parts are all correct. The ideas are right. XD
Romans 3:
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets
22 Even the righteousness of God which* is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference
23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God
24 Being justified freely by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ
25 Who God sent as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.
26 To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness, that He might be just, and the Justifier of them which believe.
27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. Of what law? of works? Nay, but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is *He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also of the Gentiles? Yes, also of the Gentiles
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

I was very honest with you and I put *asterisks* where I peaked just a little at the wording, not to remember what goes next, but how it goes next.
So that was my large memory verses for this month. I also memorized like 20 other miscellaneous verses. I’m not going to write those all out because it gets really boring really fast.

So next I have a few photos.

News Flash! I love Converse. So I got myself a black pair. I have a sky blue pair, but I wanted more. XD I actually really like this Photo and think I might add a caption at the top.

And I’ve got two new Journals.

The blue one goes by “#41” and that’s the one I mentioned in my previous Journal posts. I am writing my new novel in that journal, so it’s about 1/4 full already, and I’ve only had it about 2 weeks! That’s me going super slow, since I’m really busy this fall season. I’m hoping to finish this story, making it my second complete Novel. And maybe one day it will actually be one I publish.

I painted a “Cover” for that story on a piece of wood. It does a pretty good job capturing what I want it too, but it sort of leans toward the Fall season, and the book is in the spring, so maybe that’s a bit off… It’s not a Halloween book! *eyeroll*

The second one is a gift from one of my lady friends at church. That makes 42.

What else.. Well I’ve been listening to some random people sing. Brennley Brown, who’s last name matches mine! Being that my real name is Bethany Rebecca Brown
*Libby interrupts * “Um.. I thought you knew that you were sort of named after Brennley…”
*B.R.B. looks shocked* “No way,” *Squeals* “That’s too cool!”

And I’ve been listening to Lawson Bates. I would recommend his song “If That Hadn’t been There” and “I’ll Love Again.” (The latter is a breakup song, which makes no sense in my case, but still a good song, and it’s clean)

And one last one… Oh. The song “You Know Better Than I” from Joseph: King of Dreams. Goodness I used to LOVE that cartoon. It was like one of the most amazing things ever! (Hey, if you lived on Veggitales you would have too.) But I watch it now and I see a lot of inaccuracies. But then I catch myself, because I shouldn’t really be watching it at my *cough* age.

If you want to laugh, you can go to this awesome post by Karyssa that totally portrays a writers head.

I think that should be enough for now.

Oh, Libby also took part in a Sisters in Christ post on Faith Potts Blog. You can click the link to read more about her. XD

Over and Out!
