Hi. I haven’t actually posted on here for a while. Libby sort of took over. I miss it here. Let me update you all on my life.
Last week we went to the BTT.
We arrived at the most amazing time ever, during the youth group get together. That house was a mad house. So much fun. Kate, Joseph and I just slipped in during the party and banged away in their game room. Plus they have 6 horses! Because we were new Skye let us ride. I took Boomer. It was epic. I haven’t been on a horse for a while, but they were so well trained I didn’t need very mush training.
Skye! Chad is so nice! You’ve got this one in the bag. Keep praying!
Anyway. After the game room Mom Chambers decided to kick us all outside. We went to have the picnic out in this gorgeous place called Piney Hollow. The trail out there was a breeze. Joseph was actually the best rider of us three (seeing he comes from a farm and really ought to be.) After Dad Chambers had the campfire going we stuffed ourselves with hot dogs and smore’s. The trees around were like a great big hug, and I was so happy. I was ecstatic to meet Skye since she’s such a character! I got her to sign my friend book. Of course she doesn’t know why, and was sort of confused, but she signed it anyway. I’m collecting a book of signatures from different books. I should post a picture when I get enough signatures. 🙂
The breeze was so cool, and I could hear the frogs out from the pond (They are louder than you think). The crackling of the fire and giggling kids around me, it was just such an amazing experience!
When we were all too full to eat any more, Dad Chambers lead a Bible study on trusting God. That was such an thrill, because I have been learning that in my personal life! He quoted some of my favorite verses, and it was all I could do not to jump up and shout out those verses!
Chad played the guitar and worship under the stars was a memory I’m never going to forget. I felt my soul fill up and we all sang together. It was just an epic experience.
I was so tired on the way back I could hardly keep my eyes open. Kate was hyped because she had eaten tooo many smore’s so she was fine.
Joseph and her made sure we got back home right before bed time, and I was asleep in an instant.
Champ, Belle, Boomer, Bucky, Rebel, WHO ARE THE OTHER 3 HORSES! Mariah, you know these right? You suggested the series.
And for all of you out there who wish to know what in the world I am talking about? Skye Nicholson from the Keystone Stables series, by Marsha Hubler.
This series was so much fun for me to read! Skye is a foster kid, and from the first book to the last one, you get to watch her grow in her relationship with God and mature. I mean sure she’s only thirteen, and definitely shouldn’t be going all googly eyed at Chad, but what you gonna do?
I give this series 4 stars. Just cause it honestly didn’t need all the Chadyness, but the story is cool.
Age range is probably 12 and up, because Skye and her friends do have a past and an attitude and bad habits that don’t need to be pondered upon if you’re younger then that. To see what I base my age range off of, you can click here, and you can click here for a list of the other books I recommend!
Anyway, thank you to Skye for such an amazing night to remember, as well as thank you to Mariah for suggesting the series to me a few months ago. I am glad I got to reading it and had so much fun.
Until next time, From the Adventures of the BTT

Over and Out.
Wow, cool post! The only other 2 horses I can remember are Stormy and Buddy. 😀
Oh.. Stormy, that’s one I missed. Aren’t there also Mr. and Mrs. Chambers’ horses? Do you remember their names? Something like Thunder…
I thought Buddy was from the Special needs camp, and not one of the Chambers’ horses… I’m confused now.. lol
Yeah, Buddy was from the Special needs camp. I got that wrong! I can’t remember Mr and Mrs Chambers horses names….. 🙂
