Ok so… I didn’t like this book.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS NESSACARY SPOILERS.
Thing is when I don’t review right after I read a book the review tends to be short, but that’s ok right? There’s no rules about the length of a review XD.
So as many of you know I’m not exactly a fanatic about the suspense genre, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with most of the books I’ve read since I started dabbling in it. This one was just a miss for me.
Why? Spoilers. But I’m going to go ahead and say it anyway.
Guys, it was just too dark for me. Organ trafficking children? Why in the WORLD would you write an ENTERTAINMENT book on something like that? I don’t understand. I don’t care how much it was portrayed as a negative thing or the fact that the criminals were apprehended or that it was fiction children or any of that. It was simply dark and ugly and I just didn’t like it at all.
I understand that I personally have a heart for orphans and children who need adoption, and it was just too heart rending to be enjoyable (that sounds sick). I understand that this may be because of my own personal convictions and opinion, but that’s why this is my review. I’m sorry to put a bad review on any author’s book but I had to share this for anyone who wants to read this book. I didn’t know that this was the topic in the book when I requested it, otherwise, I would not have requested it. And so I’m providing the information for any future readers to be aware and educated when they reach for this book.
As a whole, it was written well enough. It wasn’t slow and it was action packed. The characters were interesting and made you want to get to know them better. The romance was sweet, but not extremely believable and a little rushed.

All in all, I didn’t like this book and I’m sorry I had to read it all the way through.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. A positive review was not required and all opinions are my own.

I just read one of the books you reviewed on here, “An Uncommon Woman”, and let me just say, you were SOOO right! I really enjoyed it, and to be honest got a new perspective on how things were back then. All this to say, thanks for reviewing books! I love reading the reviews and finding new books to read ☺.
Yay! I’m glad!
