Hi all. Here is Part 2, cause I didn’t get to it all on Wednesday.
Gray Marie commented on my previous post and said that she used to journal, but she stopped because her siblings got into her journals. I understand that. Such a bummer. I mostly don’t write things I haven’t already told my family, so even if they did try to get into my books they’d just be reading what I’ve already told them. Our family is super close, so we all know everything.
And back to my Journals! So I’m gonna continue the categories.
So these are my “Writing Inspiration” journals. The 642 Things to Write About is a blast to read, but I never actually get “inspired” after reading it. Q and A a Day is nice. I like to do it once in a while. Again, not very inspiring, but it’s a piece of writing I get to do without having to come up with a story myself (which I like not having to do once in a while.) And then One Page A Day is fun. But same as the last two.
Now, the three on the right side of photo are inspiration that I wrote. The red one is called “My Idea Book” and has just recently been filled up and “graduated” to the bookshelf. It’s full of my personal poetry, super short stories, ideas and other random stuff.
The Flowery Journal is where I go when I find a cool quote or saying, or a song with words that I like, but not the whole song.
These are all journals to the future! The top left is notes and thoughts to my future husband, the next one is a journal I write in once a year to myself in five years. The Purple one on the bottom left is titles “Everything I Never Want to Forget” and it’s just that. A list of things I never want to forget. I bought stickers and designed it myself, so that was fun. Plus I love the straps over the fronts of journals. And the Blue Flower one is a book without lines, so I used it to get the “autographs” of all my friends, so I can look back and see the names and signatures of all the people I was close to at one point. 🙂
These are the ones that I love how they look. My favorite designs. The huge pink polk-a-dot one is my new Idea Book.
These are my early writing journals. The top three are from when I was 10! The bottom three are in Chronological order, they are my first and only complete novel. I don’t really plan to publish that one, it’s just for me, but it was a blast to write.
These are all my Bible study journals. The first from the left to right, top to bottom. Dream Big is my prayer list, where I put prayer requests I’ve received and such. Then goes a genuine leather journal I got from my aunt on my baptism some years ago. I put Bible verses that I have completely memorized in that one. The plain pink one is for notes I take during church. It’s almost full and I’m going to be replacing it with journal #41 soon. “Write with your heart” is the bottom left one. It is my list of 1,000 things I am thankful for, so far I am at 600.
And last but not least, this purple and green journal was a gift from one of my best friends, and that is where I put my personal thoughts during my personal devotionals. It’s one of my favorites, speaking of which..
These are my most prized, my priceless, my precious, most favorite journals ever. If I had to pick 5 out of my 40 I’d pick these.
These are my Misc. journals. The top two are basically blah, the ones I go to when I don’t have a journal for whatever I’m currently doing. The bottom left one is the journal that I have where all my table of contents and journal list is. It’s my “Journal to keep track of my journals” and it’s super handy. The last on on the bottom right is a short story that I wrote this one time. Not a big fan, but I like the journal so I haven’t tossed it.
So those are all my journals! #41 will be posted at some point when I get it. My personal devotional journal was given to me by the same friend who is giving me #41. I’m really excited to see what it looks like and add it to my collection.
Thank you for reading guys! And guess what? Gray Marie from Writing Is Life agreed to do a chat with me and so next week’s post is all about that! Stay tuned. 🙂

Side note from B.R.B.
Hey Guys! So I know I haven’t been posting very much. Libby has sort of taken over, and that all happened, but I’m planning to do a BTT trip to Where Dandelions Grow by Lydia Howe! I’m really excited to meet Destiny, and I’ll tell you guys all about it. 🙂

They’re all so cute! <3
I also tell my family everything for the most part, but I also wrote about my friends and how I was worried about their life choices, which isn't something my siblings should be reading, since it is more private. ^_^
Oooh, I'm really excited for our chat!! I think I'll post it sometime after you post yours, so I can link back to you and your post easier! 😀
I see what you mean. 🙂
No problem! I’m excited too!
I’m really excited too for the next post. I thought I had a lot of journals + notebooks before I saw this post, Libby! 😀 You are amazing!!
How many do you have Mariah? Thanks.. *blushing*
Having a lot of journals makes me amazing? Lol. More like a potential hoarder. XD
