Good morning Treasures.
I was just budgeting my paycheck this morning and it struck me. I just expected it to be there.. because it’s a Friday morning. But when I stopped to think about it, it was so much more LIKELY that it wouldn’t be there. It took the blessing of a job, the dedication of a manager, and the time of an HR representative to make sure that that paycheck was made out to the correct amount and in my bank account this morning.
If you get to thinking, in just the simplicity of a MORNING, we take so much for granted. When you went to bed last night, it was dark outside. It was colder than normal. You laid down and shut your eyes and eventually fell into sleep. When you woke up this morning, the world outside had completely changed. The sun had risen and cast light on absolutely everything around you! And yet you didn’t give it a second thought because it always rises, right?
Praise be given to our Glorious God who is faithful to provide us with heat and air and energy and heartbeat every morning while we forget to thank Him for the simplest things.
I challenge you to take a minute or two and remember the simplest things in life that you take for granted, yet without them, you would not be able to continue living. Comment below what you think of, I want to hear your brainstorming awe.

This.
I. love. this.
Simplest things, which aren’t so simple after all: SALVATION, God’s peace, the beauty all around us, my wonderful friends & family, laughter, home, & my iPhone + earphones. I take all this for granted until I lose it (except salvation, of course) and then realize how much I love it & yes, need it. <33
Yes! It’s so annoying when you lose your earphones XD. Thank you for your comment Katja.
Thanks for this, Libby! There are a million blessings every day that we take for granted, but, all the while, God is so, so good and loves. That’s amazing.
God’s presence. That will always be there, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Also I used to be legit afraid of the sun not rising in the morning, don’t ask why.
Whoa. I love this post!! I always find that it’s the simplest things that we take for granted… when I realize just how little of my life would be possible without the Lord, I find myself in awe.
Thank you for this! <3
